\u201cSaburtalo\u201d president Tariel Khechikashvili held a press conference at Bendela Stadium ahead of the new Erovnuli Liga season. As he announced, the football club \u201cSaburtalo\u201d has officially changed its name, and starting from the new season, the club will compete under the name \u201cIberia 1999.\u201d<\/p>\n

The president of Iberia 1999 also presented the new signings. Derek Agyakwa<\/strong> He began his career in the youth team of Twente. After his spell with the Dutch club, Derek continued playing for Watford\u2019s U23 team. He also played for the Italian club Como and the English club Port Vale.<\/p>\n

In addition, Iberia 1999 have signed Roman Gamara, Christian Luduena and Luciano Viano.<\/strong>The club brought these players in from the Argentine runners-up, Talleres, through a partnership with a South American holding.<\/p>\n
